It was a warm day. We were bathed in the soft, golden light of the sun peeking through the trees. It was a day filled with the promise of a beautiful future. And the Woodland Forest at Oak Hill Farm was overflowing with love and joy. All eyes were on Christine and Eddie. Their laughter was consistently echoing through the trees and it was music to all ears present. Eddie, with a voice steady and full of emotion, finished reading his vows. As he handed the microphone to Christine, there was a brief, poignant pause. Christine looked at Eddie with the most adoring gaze, then turned to their gathered family and friends with a radiant smile on her face. She giggled a light-hearted laugh as she confessed that although her vows might sound strikingly similar to Eddie’s, they were indeed her own. This candid admission brought a wave of laughter from everyone present, and anticipation filled the air. To everyone’s amazement, Christine’s vows echoed Eddie’s sentiments almost word for word. They both vowed to love each other endlessly, celebrating all the little things they adore about one another. From their head to their toes, and all the quirks in between, their love for each other was growing by the minute. In their vows, they wholeheartedly acknowledged how the other person is the best part of them, each bringing out the very best in the other. It was one of those moments you read about in the fairytales. So romantic. So emotional. And so unapologetically Christine and Eddie. And I just love it all.

I love their vows and the fact that they were so similar because in that moment, it was made very clear to all that Christine and Eddie are made for each other. Their thoughts and their hearts seemed to be perfectly aligned, beating in unison on the same wavelength. It was evident in every glance, every smile, and every word they shared. And it's always like that for them. They have so much in common and the chemistry between them is palpable. As I sat and reflected on this moment, I couldn't help but be reminded of "Love is an Open Door" from Frozen. Specifically the part that goes "It's crazy" "what?" "we finish each other's" "sandwiches." Why you may ask? Well the obvious reason is because Christine and Eddie were essentially finishing each other's sentences in their vows. But the silly part of this song when Anna says "sandwiches" instead of "sentences" is the perfect depiction of Christine and Eddie's love. Their relationship is both romantic and playful. They have such silly, free-spirited, and easygoing personalities. All they do is laugh with one another. They smile brighter when they're around each other. They literally run through fields and play tag because they love to have fun together -- which, I knew this already because they chose to splash around Lake Michigan in October during their engagement session. Like, you two are awesome, thank you very much! Being around Christine and Eddie is like a breath of fresh air on a warm, sunny day. Their joy is radiant. Their personalities are so warm and welcoming. And their desire to have fun and be a little silly is refreshingly admirable. Christine and Eddie’s wedding was not just a celebration of their union, but a testament to their deep connection. Their love story is one of harmony and joy. It is a beautiful reminder of what it means to find a soulmate who truly completes you. And all I can pray is that you all find a love like Christine and Eddie's. Your life will be full of light, love, and laughter, I can tell you that much is true!

Christine and Eddie, thank you for blessing me with your joyful love story. There are days that shine brightly in our memories, not just for their beauty, but for the love and joy they encapsulate. And your wedding was absolutely one of those unforgettable days. It was such an honor to be a part of your day and to help you capture all these precious memories. So, thank you for running around Oak Hill like the two crazy kids in love that you are. Thank you for your friendship. And most importantly, thank you for simply being you. You have hearts of pure gold and I am so lucky to know you both. May your lives continue to be as magical and harmonious as your wedding day. Here’s to a future filled with love, laughter, and endless happiness!
