They made their way up the industrial stairs at Fairlie. Hands clasped, hearts soaring, and officially husband and wife. He had his hands full with the train of her dress. And she lifted up the front of her skirt to lead the way. The applause and cheers of their loved ones filled the space, bouncing off the high ceilings and making the entire room buzz with pure happiness. As soon as they reached the loft, they took a deep breath, soaking it all in, before Giana all but leaped into Andy’s arms. They swayed together, wrapped up in their own little world, grinning from ear to ear. For a brief moment, time stood still. They pulled apart just slightly, just enough to admire their sparkling new wedding bands. They wiggled their left hands in front of each other, reveling in the joy of finally, finally being married after almost a decade together. Giddy with excitement, Giana threw her arms up in the air in pure celebration before stealing a few more kisses from her new husband. It wasn’t long before their wedding party joined them in the loft, matching their energy and celebrating with the kind of love and enthusiasm that only comes when two people who are truly meant to be together finally say “I do.” But that brief moment, just the two of them, is a perfect reflection of who Giana and Andy are—playful, deeply in love, and always finding joy in each other. And it's a beautiful snapshot of the day that is still living rent-free in my mind.


If there’s one thing I knew for sure going into Giana and Andy’s wedding day, it’s that their love story was going to shine just as brightly as they do. I learned so much about them during their engagement session—like how they love with their whole hearts, effortlessly and fully. Their chemistry is next-level, and the way they care for each other in the smallest, most thoughtful ways is beyond sweet. Like Giana stashing an extra mint in her pocket for Andy, and Andy constantly tucking stray hairs behind her ear while looking at her like she hung the moon. Their love is playful, joyful, and full of the kind of laughter that makes your heart feel lighter.


But the thing about Giana and Andy? They don’t just love each other beautifully—they remind everyone around them how to soak in life’s little joys, too. And on their wedding day, they proved that time and time again. Every laugh was real, every moment was cherished, and every emotion was felt so deeply. Their post-ceremony excitement was the perfect example of this—pure, unfiltered joy, the kind that makes you want to grab your person and twirl them around just because you can. It was like a deep, happy sigh of relief—not an 'oh thank goodness that’s over' kind of sigh, but a 'WOW, we actually did it!' kind of moment. The kind that fills your heart, makes you want to twirl around, and leaves you grinning from ear to ear! Beyond that joy, I love this moment because at the end of the day, the flowers, the venue, the details—they were stunning. But what made this day truly magical? The love between two people who were always meant to find each other. And if that’s not the best kind of love story, I don’t know what is.


Giana and Andy, your wedding day was nothing short of a dream, but the real magic? That’s just who you are. Your love is the kind that makes everyone around you believe in fairytales. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story with me, for taking care of everyone around you (myself included!), and for loving so big and so effortlessly. Thank you for squealing with excitement when the fluffy snowflakes made a surprise appearance during portraits, for throwing an unforgettable party (I mean, from your tuk tuk exit to a certain farm animal dowry… legendary), and most of all, for being unapologetically you. I’m obsessed with you two, and I have a feeling I always will be. So here’s to a lifetime of laughter, spontaneous celebrations, and loving each other just as wildly and joyfully as you did on this perfect day!
