If you know me, you know I love love. Like really love it. The giggles, the hugs, the way eyes light up when looking at the people who mean the most—those are the moments that make my heart burst. And this year’s Valentine’s Day mini sessions? They were overflowing with exactly that.

From the moment every person walked into my studio, it was pure magic. The soft hum of music filled the air, the golden sunlight streamed through the windows, and the sweetest little love stories unfolded right in front of my camera.

Take one fearless little miss, for example. She wasted no time scooting off the couch, marching right up to the cookie table like a girl on a mission. She carefully inspected her options (as all great cookie connoisseurs do), made her pick, and took the biggest, most satisfying bite. And let me tell you—the way her big blue eyes widened in pure sugary delight, crumbs sprinkled all over her tiny hands and cheeks? Too. Cute. For. Words. But what really got me was when, mid-cookie, she walked up to me, locked eyes with the camera, and gave me the most curious, innocent, heart-melting look. We all burst into laughter, and in that moment, I swear my heart could have melted into a puddle right then and there.

And then there was another sweet little one who, as she was leaving, ran up and gave me the biggest squeeze—completely unprompted. My heart? Gone. Or the little miss who took her job as my "assistant" very seriously, following me around, “helping” me take photos, and making sure everyone was camera-ready. And don't get me started on the big brother-to-be who was smelling the flowers and sharing them with the ultrasound of his baby sis.

These moments, these connections, these tiny love stories unfolding in my studio—it’s why I do what I do. Watching parents dote over their spunky, sweet, giggly kiddos was the best reminder that Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romance—it’s about all kinds of love. The love between parents and children, between siblings, between families who make each other’s worlds brighter every single day. And while Valentine’s Day may be just one day on the calendar, love like this deserves to be celebrated every day.

So, to every family who spent time with me during these sessions—thank you. Thank you for trusting me to capture your love. Thank you for filling my studio with laughter, snuggles, and the sweetest little moments. My heart is so full, and I already can’t wait to do it all over again next year.

Until then, keep loving big, laughing often, and sneaking cookies whenever possible. 😉💛
